Heaven Knows I loooooove lists. Especially when they’re lists that I can actually check off.
CNN recently ran an article about a man who has made it his life’s journey to travel to many of the world’s greatest sites, deemed so by UNESCO. This man has many sites already under his belt, and oh so many to go. And he’s a Midwesterner so we know he’s capable of just about anything as long as he’s got some cheese to nibble on along the way. (We’ll forgive him for being from Wisconsin as long as he doesn’t openly sport the Green and Gold) He seems like a great person, and I am so happy to support his travels. Well, Mr. Arndt, I’ve decided to join you on the journey and am going to use the following UNESCO World Heritage Sites list as a guide. Instead of checking places off, I’m going to bold them. I just went through, and as of February 8, 2016, I’m seen 83. It’s amazing to see that even though I’ve been to several countries on the list, there were some I couldn’t even highlight one UNESCO site from. Understandably, the list doesn’t need to be completely bolded one day, or even come close, but it’ll still be a fun addition to trip planning.
